The ozone generator produces ozone, which has a disinfectant effect. Ozone is a bactericidal and antiviral agent. It also kills mold fungi and its spores. Insecticide and rodenticide. It also destroys dust mites.
The ozone generator converts oxygen molecules in the air into unstable molecules of O3, i.e., three atoms. The molecule degrades in a relatively short time (30 minutes). But in the meantime, it oxidizes any organic matter it encounters.
